POCKET DIAGNOSTIC TEST KIT FOR THE DETECTION OF PHYTOPHTHORA

Phytophthora test kit; containing 1 x Phytophthora test device, 1 x sample extraction bottle, 1 x pipette, full instructions and key card.

The test kit contains everything necessary to test one sample for the presence of Phytophthora in 5-10 minutes.

The Pocket Diagnostic Phytophthora test is generic, so will detect all species of Phytophthora, including cinnamomi and ramorum. Further laboratory diagnostic testing (i.e. PDplus™) to identify the species of Phytophthora may be necessary.  The Pocket Diagnostic Phytophthora test can be used on a wide range of plant material, including woody tissues, tough leaves, roots and soft material.  Instructions on how to sample plants and on extracting the sample are included in the test kit. 

Product PD51125 is supplied in individual bags, and is designed for testing one sample in the field.  If more extensive testing is required in a laboratory, Phytophthora tests are supplied in boxes of 50.
