MEDICAP® MD is a special blend of highly water soluble nutrients designed to stimulate tree growth...including the micronutrients required for dark green foliage. Ideal for use on both fruit and ornamental trees and on Australian native trees. Long lasting control (2-3 years).  This implant treatment may be helpful if trees are adversely affected by confined root areas, mechanical root injury, construction damage, poor soil conditions, disease or insect stress, air pollution, flood or frost damage, transplant shock, fire damage, or surgery or pruning shock.  These implants have been used successfully to overcome decline of Australian native trees including tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala), flooded gum (Eucalyptus rudis), Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata) and Eucalyptus melliodora. These implants come in 2 different sizes: 1/4” diameter ideal for shrubs, vines, saplings and advanced trees with a trunk diameter between 2.5cm and 8cm stem diameter and 3/8” diameter ideal for trees greater than 8cm stem diameter.

MEDICAP® FE implants are useful in trees, shrubs and vines where iron deficiencies are difficult to control by foliage or soil feeding.  Such iron deficiencies are normally associated with calcareous soils such as those that occur along the Swan Coastal Plain in Western Australia, arid, or sandy soil conditions. Trees most susceptible are Eucalyptus, Oak (Pin Oak and White Oak), Black Locust, Birch, Liquid Amber, Pines, Magnolia, Dogwood, Podocarpus, Poplar, Catalpa, Citrus, Peach, Pear, Apple, Avocado and Silver Maple.  For optimum first season response and for maximum duration control (2 to 3 seasons) implants should be made just prior to vegetative growth which will vary according to to the region of Australasia and Asia the trees are growing in. These implants comes in 3 different sizes: 1/4” diameter ideal for shrubs, vines, saplings and advanced trees with a trunk diameter between 2.5cm and 8cm stem diameter and 3/8” diameter ideal for trees greater than 8cm stem diameter, 1/2” diameter ideal for trees greater than 20cm stem diameter.

Trees most susceptible are...Maple (Red, Sugar, Norway), Peach, Ornamental Cherry, Citrus, Palm trees, and certain deciduous fruit. Since manganese does not translocate into existing chlorotic foliage, application is recommended prior to or during vegetative growth only. These implants comes in 2 different sizes: 1/4” diameter ideal for shrubs, vines, saplings and advanced trees with a trunk diameter between 2.5cm and 8cm stem diameter and 3/8” diameter ideal for trees greater than 8cm stem diameter.

Trees most susceptible are...eucalypts, citrus, peach, nectarine, avocado, walnut, pecan or other nut trees.   MEDICAP® ZN implants have been used successfully to overcome the decline of tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala) during trials in Western Australian forests.  Since zinc does not translocate into existing chlorotic foliage, application is recommended prior to or during vegetative growth only. These implants comes in 1 size: 3/8” diameter ideal for trees greater than 8cm stem diameter.

PHOSCAP implants provide phosphate for plant health and root enhancement....potassium for cell strength and rigidity, plus essential trace elements to ensure a more complete nutrient feed.  This implant treatment may be helpful to enhance protein and carbohydrate synthesis and aids in plant health tolerance to heat, cold and drought.
